The QuickLock will have a warranty period of 1 year from the date the unit is shipped.
The return policy will be for a period of 30 days from when the unit ships. Customer will be responsible for return shipping and handling to our facility. The QuickLock must be returned back to us in brand new pristine condition. A partial refund will be given if scratched, dented or damaged. An RMA number must be issued in order to return your product. Please email customer service at cs@theQuickLock.com to request an RMA number.

YES! - the same type of RFiD key technology that is enabled within the GunBox can be used to open the Doorlock.
Currently iPhone and Android smartphones have NFC "Reading" capabilities but cannot emulate a NFC tag. Our understanding is that the technology is within the smartphone but the protocol has not been opened. We will post any updates on our website in the future.
The Doorlock will auto lock, but The Deadbolt will only lock once the knob is manually turned. The Doorlock was engineered in this fashion, removing the barriers and problems that other battery operated doorlocks have. One main issue with other locks is the Deadbolt mechanism. When the battery is low or the jam is misaligned, the deadbolt will not lock. With a manual lock, the door is guaranteed to be locked.
You must have a smartphone that has Bluetooth 4.0 installed. Older versions of Bluetooth will not work.
Programming a new RFiD tag is a snap! Use the current programmed RF tag to open The Doorlock by pressing the black button on the front of The Doorlock and waving the programmed tag over the black area. Turn the handle once the green light appears. Once open, immediately push the black button once and "wave" the new RFiD tag over the black area. The new RFiD tag can now be used to open The Doorlock.
The outside portion of the lock can be outdoors but the inside portion of the lock must be indoors. The electronics on the interior side of the door must stay dry.
The Quicklock Doorlock does not have a rechargeable battery.It requires 4 AAA batteries that will last 1+ years before replacement is required.
The Doorlock will blink Red and Blue to indicate the battery capacity is below 30% to give you ample time to change out the batteries. Furthermore, the battery life can be checked by opening up the settings cog in 'thequicklock' app in the respective iOS and Android stores.

Door thickness must be between 1.375" (34.93mm) & 1.75" (44.45mm) - Minimum hole size is 2.08" (52.83mm)
The app is only available for smartphones using Android or iOS platforms. Windows phones are not supported at this time.
